Stolen from chaosvizier.

1. Reply and I'll write something about you.

2. I will then tell you what song/movie reminds me of you.

3. I will say something that only makes sense to you and me.

4. I will tell you my first memory of you.

5. I will tell you what animal you remind me of.

6. I'll then tell you something that I've always wondered about you.

7. Then post this in your own journal...

So, I was talking to Nina earlier (best friends since junior high, one of my roommates in college) on MSN. For some reason, she thinks I need a boyfriend. So she decided to make me an account on Cupid.com, despite me saying "Nononononoonoooooooooooooo." She set it up, even going so far as to set up a new hotmail account for me so none of the mail came to my real account. That was thoughtful, at least. But really, I have no interest in online dating services...they make me uncomfortable. I would rather become friends with someone first.

Anyway, she wrote me a profile about me having a BA in English (misspelling several words in the process) and how I like to draw, then put something about how "a friend is doing this for me because she's bored, and I thought why not give it a try."

She was trying to get out of doing her lab. I told her I was going to delete the account as soon as she left, and she said that was fine. Well, in the 15 minutes after she set up the account to when she left, some random guy viewed my profile and then he IM'd me! It was startling. He was from Reno, 34, with 4 cats. He seemed nice enough. We talked for a while, then he had to go and I told him I was deleting my profile because I never wanted it in the first place. He said he understood.

Anyway. So I deleted the account, which was good because I have too many online accounts anyway. I will beat Nina up next time I see her (or at least make her treat me to a Chinese food lunch) and the world keeps turning.

But still. Yeah. Startling.
