I'm thinking of making cookies.
I went into a cute little shop yesterday and asked if they were hiring. Of course not. Though the girl did take my name and number in case they do start hiring. There were two other names before mine, so I guess I can cross that off my list. I WAS looking for the cellular place so I could fill out an app, but I couldn't find it. If the ad is still in the Hi-Liter when it comes out tomorrow, I'll give it another try. I hope when I DO find a job, I can work in the morning, 8-4 or 9-5 or something. When I worked at the hotel, it was from 3-11pm and I hated it. I could barely keep my eyes open at night to drive home.
I went to fill out an application for a secretary last week, and on the front of the building in huge letters were the words "Let Jesus into your life!" I almost didn't go in, but I figured I had driven all the way out there, I might as well fill out the damn application. Inside, they were answering the phones, "*Blank* Products, God Bless America, how can I help you?"
O___o, I thought.
But the people seemed nice, and there was a puppy wandering around. It seems they do silk screening and embroidery. But I haven't heard back from them yet. I was nervous filling out the application, and my writing was a little shaky. That might be why.
AND, to top off this nice little episode of whining and procrastination, I shall add some art angst, as well: I SUCK. That is all.
Chocolate chip cookies. *nodnod* Yes.
